Txakolin
Txakolin is included by Iztueta under the category of Soinu Zaharrak or old melodies, but unlike others with complicated rhythms, this one is regular. Soinu Zaharrak had lyrics to help the dancers remember the musical structure of each unique piece. Gipuzkoan steps may be used to improvise as long as they fit within the musical strucutre. Since Txakolin is regular, it is not necessary to know the words, but singing can enhance the performance.
