Eguzki Dantza

Today this women's soka dantza is performed in conjunction with the annual festival of St. Peter in Lekeitio, Bizkaia, but originally it was associated with the summer solstice and the feast of Saint John the Baptist. It exhibits the traditional characteristics of an Soka Dantza with the positions of Aurresku and Atzesku, bridges, incorporation of members of the community, agurrak, and finishes with a jota, porrusalda and biribilketa.
