Euzkaldunak Morzilla Dinner
Boise’s Euzkaldunak will celebrate its annual Morzilla Dinner this Saturday, November 2nd at the Basque Center. There will be two seatings, the first at 5:15pm and the second at 6:30pm. The menu will include tossed salad, garbanzos with chorizo, Alaskan Cod in salsa verde with clams, meatballs in mushroom sauce, baked Morzilla, desserts, bread, wine and coffee, and cost of the meal is $15 for adults and $6 for children 10 and under. There will also be wine and other beverages available for purchase. Remember that there is no babysitting provided at this event. For more information, please visit their website.
Eusko Etxea NYC Marathon Event
If you are in the New York City area, please join everyone at the Eusko Etxea of New York to cheer on the marathon runners this Sunday, November 3rd beginning at 9:30am. Breakfast and a light lunch will be provided free of charge. RSVPs are appreciated so please email: nyeuzkoetxea2013@gmail.com.
Basque Film of the Month - Bypass
The NABOko Filmategi film of the month is Bypass directed by Aitor Mazo and Patxo Telleria. This film tells the story of an unexpected love triangle between Xabi, his “dying friend” Maria and Xabi’s soon to be mother of his child.
