Etxepare Basque Institute
The Etxepare Basque Institute has once again organized the Bernardo Atxaga Chair program at CUNY (City University of New York) October 6-10th. This year's program combines an academic program that will focus on recent Basque literature, with two concerts by Ruper Ordorika and Ben Monder (Oct. 6th) and another by Pianist Josu Okiñena (Oct. 10th). The academic portion will be taught by Drs. Nerea Arruti and Mari Jose Olaziregi, of the University of Aberdeen, and the University of the Basque Country respectively. We are also happy to announce that as part of the program, Josu Okiñena will also be performing on the West Coast in Reno on October 15th and in Seattle on October 17th.
