1st BASQUE PELOTA CHAMPIONSHIP
Come see some of the best players from the U.S., Mexico, Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Bolivia, Argentina and the Basque Country, September 6-16.
Different competitions will be featured including handball, paleta cuero and women's paleta. The organizer of this event is the Munduko Pilota Batzarra ("Basque Pelota Associated Sports World Council") with the collaboration of the banks Kutxa and BBK and the Basque Government, with the hosting of the Basque Cultural Center in South San Francisco.
The EuskoSare website (http://www.euskosare.org/blogak/pilota_2007) will provide Special Coverage on this World Pilota Council Tournament. Special Coverage will include daily score updates, game highlights, photo galleries, video clips, player profiles and interviews. The website will also serve as an opportunity to build a network of pelota players from all over the world so that they can keep in contact and continue to collaborate with each other. Pre Paid Reservations for the Septemberfest Festival meals:
