Basque WWII Memorial - Employer Matching Gift Programs
Could your employer help double your support for the National Basque WWII Veterans Memorial? Many companies offer matching gift programs that can match charitable donations made by their employees — and some extend these programs to retirees as well. The North American Basque Organizations, Inc., Educational Fund is now able to receive eligible corporate matching gifts through Benevity. Companies such as Apple, Google, Microsoft, Bank of America, The Home Depot, and Coca-Cola are among those offering employee matching programs.
If you are considering supporting the Memorial, check whether your current or former employer will match your gift. Your contribution could go even further in helping us build a lasting tribute to the 2,170+ Basque and Basque-American men and women who served during World War II. Contributions are tax-deductible through the Educational Fund of the North American Basque Organizations, Inc. (EIN: 82-0489192). To learn more, or to donate click here. Honor. Legacy. Shared Memory. Future.

Voting Right Suspension May Affect Some Dual Citizens
If you hold dual citizenship with Spain, and are hoping to vote in future elections, this information may be of interest to you. The Spanish Supreme Court has provisionally suspended the right to vote for individuals who may have become citizens through the “Grandchildren Act,” who live outside the Spanish territory. This, however, does not put your citizenship at risk. If you have been affected and need additional information, email Beñat Azkargorta Mintegi directly.
