Big Weekend at Basque Cultural Center
As previously reported, the Basque Cultural Center will host its 44th Anniversary Festival this weekend which also coincides with the Winter NABO Meeting. The weekend is jammed packed with events for all ages, and the BCC is proud to offer the opportunity to follow two of those live streamed for those who cannot attend in person. The first live-streamed event will be a presentation by Dr. Pedro Oiarzabal on Saturday at 2pm PST about the National Basque WWII Memorial. This presentation will bring everyone up to date on this project’s progress as well as unveil the location chosen for the physical monument. To follow this presentation, click here. We are also very proud that two of our own will receive the Basque Cultural Center’s Bizi Emankorra Award on Sunday after mass. Txoko Ona Mus
The Txoko Ona Basque Club in Homedale, Idaho will host its annual NABO qualifying Mus Tournament this Sunday, February 15th at its clubhouse. Registration and breakfast begin at 8:30am with play beginning at 9:30am. Cost to participate is $70 per player which includes club membership dues, breakfast, and lunch.
