Udako Besta in San Francisco
The Basque Cultural Center’s Annual Udako Besta will take place August 23-24th at the BCC. Both days are full of activities for all ages, including lots of good food and drink. You don’t want to miss out, so please RSVP by this Saturday, August 16th. A complete schedule of events and links to purchase meal tickets are found here.
Big Horn Basque Picnic
Please join the Big Horn Basque Club this weekend for its annual Basque picnic on Saturday, August 16th at the Johnson County Fairgrounds. The festivities begin at 3pm with sheep hooking and Calcutta, with first through third place winners getting fun prizes. There will also be various other games for all ages including Mus, Weight Carrying, and Corn Hole. At 5pm Mass will be celebrated by Aita Antton that will be followed by dinner. Dinner is free for current members, and the Invasion Bar will provide a no-host bar. Stick around after dinner for dancing to the tunes of the Jean Flesher Band. It was an honor to have you there especially to show the Basque Government and the Lehendakari the amazing programs that NABO supports. Fall 2025 Euskara Classes - Course registration will open August 18th with several In-person class opportunities this semester. Please sign up for our newsletter through our website to be the first to know! Online and In-person classes are already live at the Basque Museum and Cultural Center in Boise, ID.

Picon Open in Susanville
Please join the Susanville Basque Club this Saturday for its annual Picon Open at the Diamond Mountain Golf Course. Check In begins at 8:00am with a 9:00am Tee Time. Cost to participate is $125 per Golfer, which includes lunch, and all proceeds go to the Susanville Basque Club Scholarship.
