NABO Reps Welcome Ziortza Olano in Remote Meeting

MeetingLast Saturday, NABO delegates from several clubs, including those in St. Pierre et Miquelon, Quebec, and Vancouver Canada had the chance to meet Ziortza Olano Astigarraga, the new Director of the Basque Government’s Directorate for the Basque Community Abroad. Ziortza has only served in her new capacity for two weeks, but felt it was important to personally introduce herself to Basques in the Diaspora. Also attending the meeting were Benan Oregi and Manu Meaurio, both technicians in the same department. Facilitated by NABO President, Jean Flesher, the meeting was a great opportunity for everyone to meet Ziortza while familiarizing her with each of their roles in NABO. Vice-President, Philippe Acheritogaray, Treasurer, Mayi Petracek, and Secretary Teresa Cox were also in attendance.
