BEO Grant Deadlines Extended
The Basque Educational Organization is happy to announce that its grant deadlines have been extended and are now due May 31, 2025. In 2024, the BEO launched two new grants, the Creator's Fund and the Women's Empowerment Fund. The Creator's Fund is for artists committed to a project that tells a story about the Basque culture, while the Women's Empowerment Fund is designed to support women who need financial assistance in shaping our communities, furthering our culture, and enhancing our Basque identity. First Friday Dinner in Gooding
Hard to believe, but the Gooding Basque Association’s First Friday Dinner is right around the corner. This Friday, April 4th, the festivities will begin at 6pm with Lamb chops, Lamb Shanks, Cod Fish, Clam Chowder, Basque Rice, Salad, Basque Bread and lots of yummy desserts on the menu. Seattle Euskal Etxea Spring Dinner
Please join our friends at the Seattle Euskal Etxea, this Saturday, April 5th for their annual Spring Dinner at the Wallingford Community Senior Center. The festivities begin at 3pm with drinks, appetizers, and mingling, followed by dinner at 5pm. The menu includes soup, salad, chorizos, paella, vegetable sides, various desserts, and wine. Unfortunately, the RSVP window has closed but dinner tickets are still available at the door. There will also be a raffle for various baskets full of gourmet foods and handcrafted ceramics.
