Ateak Ireki 2025 Deadline Extended
As we previously reported, November 1st marked the opening for the application period for the 2025 Ateak Ireki Program. This program, aimed at youth between the ages of 16 and 25, provides participants the opportunity to learn more about the Basque culture and the Basque Country, all while living with local families. They are also provided the opportunity to study the Basque language in a three-week immersion program at Maizpide Barnetegi. Thanks to the hard work of program organizers, the program is completely sponsored, so the only cost for participants is round-trip airfare, travel insurance and spending money. The 2025 program will take place from June 28-July 20, 2025, and the application deadline has now been extended to December 1st, so don’t miss out. If you feel this program is for you, apply here.
