Taking Ely, Nevada to England

We have also received the following note from Daniel Camou regarding his play Now Entering Ely Nevada. For more information, or to donate, please click here.

Now Entering Ely, NevadaMy name is Daniel Camou, and a play I wrote about my summers growing up in Ely, Nevada will be premiering at an off-West End theatre in October, and I need your help.  It is an immersive play about sense memory. Linda Lou Gamboa (née Lefevre), grew up in a high desert copper-mining town in Nevada. When I was little, she bought a rickety two-bedroom house, and for the rest of my childhood, my family would spend our summers there. All of us. And as those who know us know, there's a lot of us. I welcome the audience into this old home of mine, where we attempt to rebuild and sort through a childhood of disorganized, fragmented, and forgotten memories.

I am trying to raise $19,450 to cover production costs and pay artists involved. Every contribution, big or small, brings us closer to achieving my vision for this project, to bringing a little bit of Ely to England, and to giving people an incredible night at the theatre.

Thank you in advance for your consideration and your support.
