The events were hosted by Oinkari and the Basque Museum. On Thursday the Basque Museum hosted the first event on Thursday evening: Basque Dance, A Danced Story in which Oier and Josu collaborated with Oinkari to present an embodied presentation of the progression of Basque dance forms over the centuries, stressing the social context of each. You can view the Zoom video here. Friday was an opportunity for Oinkari to work on improvisational skills with the solteko genre, i.e, jota and porrusalda. On Saturday morning, Oinkari hosted dancers and instructors from idaho, Nevada, and Oregon for a two-part workshop on Soka Dantza and Ezpata Dantza.
