Virtual Basque Cooking Class through BMCC
In a continuous effort to engage its members and friends, the Basque Museum and Cultural Center in Boise, is holding a Virtual Basque Cooking Class on March 14, 2021 from 2-5pm (MST). The class, taught by Chef Asier Garcia, Executive Chef at the Leku Ona in Boise, costs $25 per person. To participate, please click here to purchase your ticket. Book Presentation: "Witches" and Wily Women
In honor of International Women’s Day, the Center for Basque Studies is proud to present “Witches” and Wily Women: Reimagining the ‘Feminine’ through Basque Folklore and Song,” a book presentation by Dr. Begoña Echeverria via Zoom beginning at 7pm (PST) on March 8, 2021. Dr. Echeverria will present her latest title published by the CBS Press “Witches” and Wily Women: Saving Noka through Basque Folklore and Song that will also be available for purchase at basquebooks.com the night of the event. San Francisco Basque Cultural Center Open For Dining
We are happy to share the news that the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center has reopened for indoor dining. Hours of operation are Tuesday-Sunday 11:00am-2:00pm for lunch, and 5:00pm-8:30pm for dinner. Reservations are strongly recommended, and can be made by calling 650-583-8091. Please note that face coverings are required in compliance with the San Mateo County Health protocols. Take-out orders are also still available by calling the same number.
