Arborglyph Exhibit in Placerville

MArking Their Trail ExhibitThe Arts & Culture El Dorado is pleased to announce “Marking their Trail: Basque Arborglyphs in the Sierra Nevada,” an exhibit that is open to the public from July 22-Septebmer 19, 2021 in Placerville, California.  The exhibit features the work of Jean and Philip Earl in a celebration of “the unique history of immigration in the American West and a diasporic culture, who, in navigating new terrain, created a unique visual language using the landscape itself as a means of expression.” Jean Earl will also give a talk on her work on Thursday, September 2nd. Mass This Weekend for San Valentin of Berriochoa

Aita AnttonPlease join Aita Antton as he remembers the Basque community of Mountain Home, Idaho and the Euskal Lagunak Basque Club, on the feast of their Patron Saint Valentin of Berriochoa/Berriotxoako Balentin Santua.  As always, mass will be livestreamed beginning at 8am (PST) Sunday morning from Artzai Ona’s Facebook page. Gooding Basque Association Dinners Resume
