Mass Commemorating Ontario's Saint Michael Celebration
This weekend, Aita Antton will celebrate mass on Sunday, September 27th on what would have been the Ontario Oregon Basque Club’s Saint Michael celebration. Intentions for the mass will be for members of the Basque community who have passed away during the last year, as well as for those who are sick. Mass will be aired on Facebook Live beginning at 8:15am PST, and can also be watched later on by clicking on the video link on the Artzai Ona Facebook Page. Iparreko Ibarra Cancels Besta - NABO Meeting WIll Be Virtual
The Iparreko Ibarra Basque Club in Rocklin has reached out to let us know that its annual besta has also been cancelled. The event would have been on October 10th in conjunction with this year’s NABO Kantari Eguna as well as the NABO Fall Meeting. As such, the meeting will now take place still on October 10th but via Zoom. Meeting documents can be accessed on the NABO website, and the Zoom code will be provided during the RSVP process. On behalf of all of us at NABO, we would like to thank Iparreko Ibarra for their continued willingness to host Kantari Eguna, and we look forward to a time when we can get together again.
