Basque Club of Utah 38th Annual Dinner Dance
The Basque Club of Utah will hold its 38th Annual Dinner Dance on January 25, 2020 at 5:30pm at St. Vincent Catholic Church – The Holy Family Hall. The festivities will begin at 5:30pm with cocktails followed by dinner at 6:30pm. The Utah’ko Triskalariak will provide entertainment, and there will be exciting raffles and a silent auction. Colorado Winter Potluck
The Colorado Euskal Etxea invites everyone to join them at their Winter Potluck, Sunday, January 12th at the Southshore Lakehouse in Aurora, Colorado. The event begins at 1pm and attendees are asked to bring a dish to share and a beverage. The club will provide coffee, juices and the main dish. For more information, and to RSVP click here. Basque Government Grants
The Basque Government published the resolution for 2020 Basque Club Grants in the Official Bulletin of the Basque Government on December 30th. The total budget to be awarded is 902,300 Euros of which 782,300 corresponds to Chapter IV grants (activities and operating) and the remaining 120,000 Euros is aimed at Chapter VII grants (infrastructure). The Resolution dated December 17, 2019, indicates the day it was approved by the Governing Council, and signed by the Secretary General of Foreign Action. Reno Zazpiak Bat Installation Dinner
The Zazpiak Bat Basque Club in Reno will host its annual Installation Dinner on January 11th at the newly-reopened Santa Fe Restaurant (235 Lake Street Reno, NV 89501). This dinner is an opportunity to welcome new officers to the board, as well as thank out-going members for their service. The event will begin at 5pm for cocktails, with dinner served at 6pm.
