Basque Places of Idaho Exhibit Reception

BSU ExhibitBasque Studies at Boise State University will host a reception for the photo exhibit, “The Basque Places of Idaho,” on Tuesday, December 3rd from 4:30-6:30pm in the Student Union Fine Arts Gallery at BSU.  The event is free and open to the public.  The exhibit is the culmination of a photo contest that encouraged both college age and high school students to “examine their surrounding through the lens of the Basque and explore a ‘sense of place’ in cultural diversity.” The reception will be an opportunity to thank all of the students, high school statewide, and BSU alike for participating.  The event was made possible thanks to the collaboration of several campus and community partners, including the contest jury comprised of Deniz Aygen, Annie Gavica, Antonia Hedrick, John Bieter, John Kelly, and Gwyn Hervochon.  For more information, as well as to see a complete list of partners see their flier.
