Utah Triskalariak at Carmelite Fair
As every year, the Basque Club of Utah will show up in force to support the Carmelite Fair on Sunday September 15th from 11am-5pm with all proceeds donated to the monastery. This event serves as the principal fundraiser for the nuns and includes a myriad of activities and contributions from various cultural groups in the area. The Utah’ko Triskalariak will perform on the main stage at noon, while other club members will sell txorizo sandwiches throughout the day. For more information on the events, click here.
Colorado Euskal Etxea Picnic
We want to invite you again to join the Colorado Euskal Etxea on September 16th to celebrate its annual picnic at the Dove Valley Regional Park Shelter #3. Events will begin at noon with games for the kids, followed by lunch (BBQ chicken and lamb), then group lessons in Basque dance, singing and mus. Cost of the meal is $17 for members with a RSVP, $22 for members at the door, and non-members, and $5 for kids ages 5-12. Please RSVP on their website.
