Euskal Diasporaren Eguna
Last year the Basque Diaspora celebrated the first ever “Euskal Diasporaren Eguna” (Basque Diaspora Day) on September 8th. Basques in 18 countries participated organizing events in over 60 Basque clubs. Before we know it, it will be September 8th again, and so the Director of the Basque Government’s Basque Community Abroad, Gorka Alvarez Aranburu, has sent a letter inviting Basque communities to begin planning this year’s event. He also encourages everyone to share news of the activities planned by emailing email@example.com. In this way, they can share the news providing more visibility to the contributions and work done by Basques around the world. To read his letter, click here.
