EuskarAbenturaWe have also heard from another program aimed at youth, but this time between the ages of 16 and 17.  EuskarAbentura is a program that hopes to introduce youth from the Basque Country, as well as two from the Diaspora, to Euskal Herria, during the month of July. Interested applicants will have to present a project, as well as a letter of intent.  The projects should deal with one of these three topics: 1) Maite ditut gure bazterrak: Euskal Herria and its investment in its ecological imprint; 2) Travel and migratory movements, or 3) Rhymes and rhythms: music, song, dance, poesy and theater.  Other requirements include being born in 2002-2003, be able to speak Euskera (grammatical perfection is not required), desire to get to know Euskal Herria, its culture, history and places, and be ready to socialize, share moments and experience with new friends.  Deadline to apply is March 24th for individuals in the Diaspora.  For complete information, including how to apply refer to this article on EuskalKultura.com, or visit their website that is also available in English.
