Delegation of Euskadi Event in New York

The Delegation of Euskadi in New York has invited Basques in the area to join them on Friday, November 30th at the Euzko Etxea in Brooklyn (307 Eckford Street, Brooklyn 11222). The event, co-organized by the Delegation and the club hopes to provide an opportunity to get to know new Basques in the area, as well as catch up with old friends. December Events in Vancouver

The Zazpiak Bat Basque Society in Vancouver, British Columbia will hold a double celebration on December 1st of International Day of Euskera (ENE) in conjunction with their Christmas party. The event will begin with a visit from the Olentzero at 5:30pm followed by dinner at 7pm. The dinner menu includes Basque fish soup, salads, lamb roast with the fixings, vegetable lasagna, dessert, rolls, wine and coffee. Cost of the meal is $25 for members and $35 for non-members. Children under the age of 12 are free. If you are planning to attend with children, please RSVP by November 23rd so gifts can be purchased in time.
