BEO Film Series
The Basque Educational Organization would like to invite everyone to its latest Film Series event this Friday, March 9th where two documentaries will be shown, "To Remember is Forbidden," and "Las Pelotaris." The first is about the Saturraran luxury spa that was used as a women's prison during the Franco regime, while the second tells the story of a group of enthusiastic women who try to make their way in a sport that they are passionate about, Pilota. Aitor Inarra will introduce both films and will also lead the discussion at the end of each. Complete information about the event, as well as trailers of both documentaries is available here.
Philippe Acheritogaray, guardian of the NABO Filmategia, has also let us know that the film library has recently been updated and now contains 48 films including 24 documentaries, 17 dramas and 7 comedies. For more information on these films, or to find out how to check them out, please click here.
