If you attended any of the events this summer in Nevada, or Wyoming where Errebal played, and did not get a chance to fill out a survey, we would appreciate your feedback. BEO Mus Tournament Fundraiser
This weekend come to the San Francisco Basque Cultural Center and support the Basque Educational Organization at its Mus Tournament Fundraiser. The hope is to raise money to support its activities, including its annual Basque Cultural Day, the Basque Film Series, as well as the Martin Minaberry Library. Tournament registration will begin at 7am and cost to play is $25 per player. Lunch will be served at 12:30pm, with the tournament resuming at 2:30pm. Cost of lunch is $20 for BCC members and $30 for non-members. The team placing first will receive $200 with second place taking home $100. NABO Meeting Hosted by Euskaldunak Quebec
Our friends in Montreal, Euskaldunak Quebec Basque Association is hosting this year's Fall NABO meeting on October 7th. As such they have planned an entire weekend full of activities to entertain their NABO friends. Festivities will begin on Friday, October 6th with a reception at Station HO.ST at 6pm. On Saturday, the meeting will be held at the Marché Jean Talon with breakfast being served at 8:30am followed by the NABO meeting at 9am. With the official business of the weekend out of the way, Saturday afternoon will include Herri Kirolak with our friends from the New England Basque Club, Basque dancing, a pintxo contest and a dinner dance. On Sunday, October 8th the events will move to the Lachine Rowing Club where there will be a rowing exhibition by local rowers, and a picnic. For complete information visit their website.
