Death After Life Book Presentation at Northeastern Nevada Museum

Douglass in ElkoDr. William A. Douglass will be in Elko, NV on October 21st at the Northeastern Nevada Museum to present and sign his book, Death after Life: Tales of Nevada a series of 13 short fictional tales about life in Nevada. Tree Talk at The University of Nevada, Reno

Tree TalkThe UNR Arboretum "Tree Talk" series presents: "Basque Aspen Art of the Sierra Nevada" a talk by Jean Earl. This event will take place at Mackay Science 321 on the UNR Campus at 7pm. Basque Firsts Book Presentation at Great Basin College

Basque FirstsOn October 26th, Vince J. Jauristi will be presenting and signing his book, Basque Firsts, People Who Changed the World at the Great Basin College Theater. This book "profiles seven remarkable Basque who were the first in their fields to do something extraordinary that had a dramatic impact on others who followed them." The event will begin at 7pm with a moderated discussion with Juaristi. Afterwards, the Great Basin Basque Dancers will perform, and then the book signing will take place.
