Film of the Month: Carol's Journey
The September film of the month, presented by NABO's Filmategi is Carol's Journey directed by Imanol Uribe. This multi-award winning film examines social upheaval as it relates to a young girl's life in this "coming-of-age" tale. It begins when Carol travels to Spain for the first time with her mother in 1938 during the Civil War. Being away from her American-born father, and her mother's diagnosis with an illness makes her life an emotional roller coaster. For more information on the film click here.
