Basque Club of Utah Dinner Dance
The Basque Club of Utah will host its 35th annual Dinner Dance this year on January 27th beginning at 6pm. This evening not only promises fabulous food, prepared by the club's local chefs, but also a wonderful evening of camaraderie and entertainment provided by the club's own Utah'ko Triskalariak. The evening also includes raffles, and a public dance following dinner to the music of Jean Flesher. Please make reservations by January 18th either through their website or through Eventbrite. Kern County Basque Club Mus Tournament
The Kern County Basque Club will host its annual Mus tournament on January 20th at the Kern County Basque clubhouse. J.B. Bidegaray will once again run the tournament and so all interested players should contact him directly either by emailing, by calling (559) 907-9745 by January 18th. Membership dues ($75), and tournament fee ($35), that includes lunch, can be paid on the day of the event. Doors open at 8am with tournament play beginning promptly at 8:30am. Sorte on deneri!
Reno Zazpiak Bat Installation Dinner
Reno's Zazpiak Bat Basque Club will host its annual Installation Dinner, on Saturday January 20th at Louis' Basque Corner. The event begins at 5:30pm with no host cocktails with dinner to follow. The Installation Dinner is the club's opportunity to thank outgoing officers for their service, as well as welcome any new board members. Reservations should be made by January 18th by using this link. Cost of the meal is $32 for adults and $18 for children 12 and under with an RSVP, and $37 and $23 for those without an RSVP.
