Basques of Kern County
The Basques of Kern County
Our friend, Nancy Zubiri at Euskal Kazeta, recently let us know that The Basques of Kern County by Stephen Bass and George Ansolabehere was recently published by the Kern County Basque Club. The book is the result of over three years of research on the Basques in that area, and was printed as part of the Kern County Basque Club’s Cultural Awareness Program. To order a copy, please go to: https://www.kcbasqueclub.com. Zorionak!

Basque Club of Utah
Basque Club of Utah
Basque Club of Utah will host its annual dinner/dance on February 2, 2013 that will also coincide with NABO’s winter meeting. The dinner/dance is an annual sell-out event and a wonderful opportunity for Basques and nonBasques to get better acquainted with the Basque Club of Utah. They may be small in number, but are large in heart and commitment! For more information on the club and its events visit its website for more information on the dinner dance visit Facebook.
